Leadership Biographies
AES is governed by a volunteer board of directors, the president and vice presidents of which serve one year terms. The board is aided in its management of the Society by various administrative and program committees whose members reflect the diversity of disciplines within the Society. Special ad hoc and task force groups are also appointed from time to time to assist in the study of and response to relevant issues, such as access to continuity of drug supply, drug development, sudden unexpected death in epilepsy (SUDEP), post traumatic epilepsy in military veterans, and other concerns.
