A new practice guideline on epilepsy and pregnancy is available from the AAN in collaboration with AES and the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine (SMFM). The guideline, Teratogenesis, perinatal, and neurodevelopmental outcomes after in utero exposure to antiseizure medication: Practice guideline from the AAN, AES, and SMFM, was published May 15 in Neurology® online, with upcoming co-publication in Epilepsy Currents to follow.
