Of  more than 400 grant awards in which AES played a role over the last decade, a large percentage of awardees went on to make significant accomplishments, including:

• More than 3,000 publications, 77% related to epilepsy
• More than $120 million in subsequent research grants, 50% related to epilepsy
• 87% or more currently direct or conduct research, more than 50% with external funding
