Special Interest Groups (SIG) offer information and networking for attendees with similar interests, in sessions organized by AES members.  Although the sizes of the SIG vary, all lend themselves to active participation and dialogue

October -  Call for presentation topics

December - Call for proposals open

January - January 13, 2025 12:00 PM PT

February - Review & selection takes place with SIG Oversight Committee

March - Notifications sent out to proposal submitters

April - September - Planning meeting

December - Annual Meeting

SIG Leadership

Our SIGs are led by a dedicated team of Chairs and Vice Chairs. They organize engaging sessions at the annual meeting, facilitate knowledge sharing within the SIG community, and promote collaboration among SIG members. 

 

How it works:

Rotating Leadership: The Chair and Vice Chair roles rotate yearly, one as a Vice Chair and then one as a Chair. 

Decision-Making: The current Chair decides on the session topics and speakers for the upcoming annual meeting.
