Council on Clinical Activities
Provides direction and oversight of the development, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based quality improvement activities, projects, and clinical and administrative practice support. The time commitment is estimated to be 4–6 hours a month.
Council on Education
Responsible for ensuring oversight and strategic alignment of the educational programs, products, and services developed by the reporting Committees, Councils, and Workgroups, completing the overall review of evaluation (needs) data from AES’ live and enduring educational activities and identifying needs and possible gaps, and providing guidance on the development of mechanisms for the communication of identified needs with the corresponding analyses to appropriate committees, task forces, and workgroups. The time commitment is estimated to be 4–5 hours a month.
Development Council
Provides direction and high-level oversight to efforts to increase contributed support for the mission of AES from individuals, public and private foundations, government entities, and industry. A key focus is philanthropic giving from individuals through annual gifts, major gifts, and planned gifts. Estimated Time Commitment: 1–3 hours per month.
Membership Council
Provides strategic direction to membership recruitment, retention, and involvement efforts. Develops strategies to support an optimal member experience with the Society across the entire lifetime of membership.
